Challenge

The client is a global science and chemicals company, who is a leader in sustainable technologies, applying cutting-edge science and chemistry to create solutions; this client is one with whom we have a long association.

T J Hazell were the chosen partner to carry out an external structural appraisal of the client’s laboratories.

Solution

In order to find an optimum solution, we:

• Carried out an external inspection of their multi-storey brick-built laboratories 
• Produced a report of our findings with suggested remedial actions. 

Results

We used a photographic drone to capture close up images as this was a much more effective and efficient way to gather the detailed information needed. The only other way to get close enough to do the survey, would have been to use extensive scaffolding, the cost of which would have been significant, unsightly and impractical. 

Our extremely fast turnaround and very cost-effective solution, due to use of drone imagery, meant that the project was a great success.
